The administration is expressing confidence that Obamacare is getting back on track after enrollment accelerated in December, with more than 1 million people signing up for private insurance.

Even so, the administration's initial goal of signing up 3.3 million people by the end of December seems out of reach.

Why is the goal only 3.3 million? That figure doesn't even cover the people who have had their policies canceled, meaning Obamacare has only resulted in a net loss of individuals covered.

Weren't there allegedly 30 to 40 million people out there just chomping at the bit to get themselves some affordable Obamacare health insurance?

No, they never intended to cover everyone (yet) but I had thought it was more like 5m of the 10m they were down to after leaving illegals out.
What they wanted were the 20somethings who pay big premiums for no services. They, of course, are not seeing them. The lion's share are going on medicaid. As predicted.

When Obamacare fails because not enough Pajama Boys signed up, will Dear Leader nationalize healthcare?

That's his goal, it's on the record.

You'd think all of those folks with 2 or 3 part-time jobs would be clambering all over the sites buying health insurance. Doesn't seem to be happening.

I have a friend who operates a business with no employees. He has a wife and 2 children so he buys his own health insurance. His old policy was canceled and his new one had a 30% increase in premiums, and that's here in New York where we were told we'd probably be one of the few places to see a price decrease.
