APP - As McCain heads into his long goodbye. This is his true legacy

It won't be his service in Vietnam

No. His legacy will be that he unwittingly ushered in the era of Trump. You see McCain bought into the whole idea of identity politics when he ran for President in 2008 so he selected Sarah Palin without really knowing much about her. She was a populist from the word go. Her speech at the RNC convention was a barn burner and awoke conservatives around the country who had been walking around in a stupor.

Thanks to McCain we have our best chance ever of slashing the Deep State.

The irony of this is that it was not McCain's intent. That is why I love it so much. I have the pleasure of knowing that McCain goes to his grave knowing that he is responsible for President Trump.

She basically ran against Alaska's deep state. She won the election but ultimately they prevailed when she resigned and collected her wealth on reality TV. Can't say I blame her since she wasn't wealthy before.
Same thing is happening with Trump but it's way different. One, he has wealth but two he has an agenda. He relishes a fight, he's in one and I think he truly wants to drain the swamp.
I just wish he was more disciplined and had better character.
I do like how he's blowing up the system though.

I have long believed that the McCain campaign would have rather lost than have Sarah Palin have a national spotlight. I believe they tanked the election by undermining her from within. There are some Republicans who are a bigger threat to this country than leftists. McShamnesty is one of them. I am trying really hard to not take glee in the fact that he is suffering given the way he has crapped on this country. Everyday I have to ask Jesus for forgiveness
