WTF do you mean?

They have the same rates as everyone else, but the Massachusettes government gets more income out of their rates because their people have much more income than average. They also pay much more into the federal government in taxes than they get back.

Mississippi has very high rates but a very low amount of income, and we get huge amounts of federal dollars. We're pretty much the opposite of that.

Get back to me when you're not mentally ratarded.

if they are higher in rank among the states in taxes per person, than they are in rank for taxes per income, that means they are paying less of their income in taxes than the average person.....

now, since they are a predominantly liberal state, and since liberals believe that the wealthy should pay more in taxes, doesn't it make sense that such a wealthy state as Massachusetts would rank among the top states for taxes as a percentage of income?........

I think what is meant is that the seat is currently held by a Democrat, Dems like Republicans would want to maintain control of the seat, and like Republicans would do anything to protect it.

It is politics! We all yell and scream when it is the person or party we oppose.

You're absolutely right...desh wouldn't dare call out Darla the clown for saying this and didn't in the past...why...? because desh is a Dem. fanatic and major hypocrite....
Its funny to see the Dems now try to pull off this change in Mass. law to keep a Dem seat in gov. ... its the same crap they tryed in the Presidential election...change the laws after the fact to force the outcome they desire...
Luckily we had a Sup. Court to prevent that from happening....

Republicans would not do anything....Dems have tryed in the past ....
the 2000 Presidential to be exact ...but was stopped by the USSC....

They rank among the top states on percentage of income returned in federal tax returns, probably.

But state matters are internal. Can you see the difference?
