I see many references in this forum to guilt by association. Before one can legitimately throw out such an accusation, it is critical that he understands "association fallacy" as well.

Ten points to anybody who can briefly explain how association fallacy relates to political discussion.

Over generalization, like claiming all billion plus Muslims are bad and out to murder us cause several thousands jihadists shout it from Toyota pickup trucks

Nice! You were able to use this to your political advantage, while demonstrating that you read and understand the opening post. Thank you!

Sorry, but I feel pretty secure in being uncomfortable with a person who is a member of the Nazi party. In order to be one, he has to have certain beliefs which conflict with mine. Association can be a fallacy, but it is not always. Actually associating a person with a group they choose to be of, is an accurate way of getting a basic understanding about them.

Thank you in advance for proving me correct.”

So saying things like "Obama supporter = communist" and "Trump-supporter = anti-American" fall into your fallacy here?

I'm not in favor of local governments promoting religious displays in public areas. I've been told this indicates that I hate Christians
and wish to persecute them. Does this satisfy your criteria for association fallacy?

I am glad to see that all the lefty children have read about association fallacy. I am not surprised with all the juvenile comments, I am just glad you guys are aware of it.
