I have a picture of my middle child (before we adopted the eldest) sitting between two tiger kittens at the circus. We were petting the little things and I was surprised at how rough the fur was, I thought it would be more like a house cat, but it was much rougher than that.

It's just totally an adorable baby animal...I mean look at it's cute baby tiger tummy and it's sweet face :) Too, knowing my daughter, I am certain she wanted to keep it.
