Poor idiot. I kind of feel sorry for her! I bet that's the last time she tries something like that though.
For the record, I have a similar experience. When Pat Buchanan was running for the Republican nomination in 1992, he kicked off his campaign in my hometown. I was working for the newspaper as a photographer at the time, and I was assigned to cover his visit. The press pool was briefed on where he would be walking, and where we were allowed to be, for security reasons. However, being a photographer, my job was to get the best photo, which often involves moving to places where a reporter wouldn't normally be. As he walked through the Milliken factory he was touring, I managed to get in front of the group to get the shot of him coming toward the camera, when a big ass bouncer-type security guy in dark sunglasses, grabbed me by my collar and lifted me about two inches off the ground. He said, you need to be over there, if you don't want to be smiling out of the wrong side of your head, and pointed to where the other pool reporters were. Of course, this was a Presidential campaign, and not a Senate race. But security is very picky about these things. I was shocked to see the situation Paul encountered when he exited his vehicle, this woman could have been a "Squeaky Frome" type, she could have been brandishing a gun, or knife, and she was trying to rush Paul. That said, I think the guy who stomped her, was a little out of line there, and it was good to see a cooler head stepped in and saved the pinhead.
WoW... the Democrats finally have some actual "violence" to whine about from the right for a change, instead of just having to make shit up.
