The Colt Grill restaurant chain (5 locations) here in Arizona was raided by ICE and the owners arrested, among others.
The owners were smuggling illegals into the US and using a shell business to conceal their employment by the chain. They are further accused of operating a number of drop houses where they kept illegal employees, of failing to pay both minimum wage and overtime, failing to use e-verify and file employee paperwork, tax evasion, etc. They're looking at about 10 years and $250,000 in fines plus having to make up the wages and taxes.
On top of that, they deliberately fired several legal US citizen workers to replace them with illegals because the later were cheaper to use.
