I warched a show last night on PBS about the supreme court and desegreagtion.
One interesting item of note was that at one time half the adult white males in Bitmingham belonged to the Klan.....

And the other half belonged to the upper class form of the clan, I cant think of its name right now...

The Doctors, lawyers, and polititans all belonged to it. The Klan did the dirty work.

And this was in the 60's. Easy to understand why Dix is like he is.
