So now he understands why it was the FBI’s duty to investigate allegations of possible collusion with Russia in the 2016 election? He should explain it to the outgoing president. :)
 
Barr has wrecked the AG position for all time. It cannot recover from his foul political misuse of his powers. He was Trump's Atty, not Americas. I am sure he knows what the job was supposed to be, but he ignored it.

You what is interesting about Barr is if you really listen to him, I mean really focus on what he is saying, he isn’t close to the scholarly legal intellect he tries to pass himself off as. He takes everything and featherbeds it with a lot nonsensical legal jargon that has little relevance to the actual content and concludes with some simple opinion he attempts to pass off as based on legal rationale. Next time he speaks, carefully listen to him

Barr's boss has alleged many things about the Biden campaign, most of them puerile lies, but he never claimed that they were colluding with a hostile foreign power (and neither did anyone else). So no, Barr didn't spy on it. Probably.

And that is what we call the difference between tyranny and restraint. Also, Barr's boss has said nothing untrue about Quid Pro Joe (which, btw, is impressive, given that Douchebag Donald has told lies about Obama).

Barr is Trump hitman. Sure, he knows Trump is more fucked up than a Football Bat and crazier than bag of cats, so why does he do it? Why did Bill Barr, and Rudy for that matter, sell their souls to Trump? My guess there's a shitpot full of money involved. Tens of millions each.
