They do Fahrenheit in Britlandia... And even know what a mile is.

i know they know what it means...but they do not tell the temp that way...

i have a close friend from canada and they do not tell temp that way, its all about the C's and the K's

and btw, other than some science stuff.....like cutting pies....why in the world did the US decide metric is not good....metric is the best, and i used to be an unbeliever, until i ate a metric ounce of british chocolate

Just to clarify the temperature thing. We usually use Fahrenheit when it's very hot (ie when we go on holiday - "man it's nearly 100 out there") and Celsius when it's cold ("August has averaged minus 3 degrees this year. Phew, what a scorcher")

We don't do kilometres but we do use centimetres and metres, while still retaining feet and inches for the measurement of people's height.

We have litre bottles of coke but retain pints of beer and milk.

Basically, we're just really messed up.
