And we have now seen how gerrymandering can fail. They created a district just for Flores to win, without wasting too many votes. What could go wrong?

When Democrats had a unified candidate, and ran a good campaign, Flores' special made close district turned into a losing district. She lost by 8.4% of the vote, and is now lashing out at everyone but herself.

you realize it actually proves the opposite, right?.......she won under the old district and lost under the new one.......I doubt any rational person would draw from that the conclusion that the Republicans created a district for her.......
