"best country in the world"

is this old and tired or am i just being me... a person who has actually traveled and seen better countries than ours.... a majority of our population hasn't ever crossed country lines yet touts that we are the best... is i this wrong?? decidedly so since you have nothing to compare it to.. it adds to this countrys arrogance and disrespct of other nations.
 
I'm not sure you can effectively compare your experiences living and paying taxes in a country with visiting a country on your vacation.

Yes, like in America, we pay just as many taxes, and get far less government services out of it. 75% of us also don't get represented in congress, and the president is chosen by a haphazard arbitrary system that 99% of the time elects a stupid hick. He then goes on to control 90% of the government without hardly any checks on his power.

Tourists, however, admire our barbarically ugly unplanned countryside, the ugliness of our female population, and our affably ignorant countrymen.
