The House will never elect a speaker who is not a member. Although the Constitution does not require the speaker to be a member, neither does it require a Supreme Court Justice to be a citizen or set any age or educational qualifications, but we all know the president would not nominate or the Senate confirm anybody without good legal qualifications.

Sometimes people just need something to talk or write about.
 
It is an absurd idea proffered by a crazy righty who somehow thinks leftys should defend it. It has never happened and is not happening now.

Didn't see it, but she does not speak for anyone but her. No Hillary will not be the speaker and it will not be entertained by the party.

Cortez is arguably the most popular democrat in the country.

Not quite ready for Prime Time, but yeah lol. Democrat voters persist and insist on voting people in because of their minority status credentials with little regard for anything else. In Cortez, they have a delusional socialist that doesn’t grasp some of the most basic principles of how the government works.

In a more sane political environment Cortez should have been elected to city council [and learn the basics] but she went straight from bar-keeper to the House of Representatives.
