On yet another front, a published report today said that homelessness is virtually over. People may have crushing mortgages, but they have homes.

So all in all, the war is going in our favor. Proof of that is that Democrats have shut up about it. Bush has made sure you have a job, and this economy has insured you have a home.

is this guy for real?? this is on the same day as on their home page it says 1 in 4 vets is homeless, and he says homelessness is virtually over. and that people have a home but their mortgage is killilng them, and oils going up but hey they have a home..

But I know for a fact the bad news you hear isn't nearly as bad as it sounds. This is the mainstream media unwilling to change it's doom and gloom narrative when facts suddenly pop up that run counter to the story the media loves.

He was "exaggerating" like they do with the "bad news" according to his editorial here.

This is the tripe that bush apologists serve up to excuse a president with a 24% approval rating, dissaproval numbers on the economy that have routinely been around 70% for years, and a years-long right track/wrong track poll rating for the country of around 30/70.

this is one of the worst presidents in history. Bush apologists better get used to it, and quit with the "things aren't that bad" tripe.

What are you talking about?? i nearly voted straight republican in 06. I voted for Rell the R governor of CT and voted for Simmons who is an R in my congressional district.

Ah, I had the impression that you did not vote for them because of the idiotic stance they have on Gay Marriage. Worthless stance, for worthless support, IMO. Even the most stringent anti-gayer knows that Gay Marriage will be a reality within a decade across the nation.

I think your time frame is overly optimistic -- I'd say twenty at best -- but I agree with the assertion that it's inevitable.
