Biden crashes the market

I guess someone doesn't understand the meaning of "session lows". Every day there is a session low and a session high.

A drop of less than 1% in a single day is hardly a crash.
 
DEMOCRATS always want to try to sell this stuff as only hitting the “wealthy,” but it always includes us one way or another in the end, either because they outright tax non-wealthy people, too, or the taxes they impose are then passed on.

Yeah. The rich are going to pass the taxes on to me for all the money they were hiding in overseas accounts.

Bungling Biden Eyeing Tax Rate as High as 43.4%

Bungling Joe Biden will propose almost doubling the capital gains tax rate to 39.6% to help pay for a raft of social spending, according to people familiar with the proposal.

The new top rate, coupled with an existing surtax on investment income, means that federal tax rates for investors could be as high as 43.4%.

The new marginal 39.6% rate would be an increase from the current base rate of 20%, the people said on the condition of anonymity because the plan is not yet public.

Stocks slid on the news, with the S&P 500 Index down at the close. Ten-year Treasury yields fell.

The White Louse has already rolled out plans for corporate tax hikes to fund the $2.25 trillion porkulus package.

I’m talking about a president *directly* tanking the market. Doesn’t happen often.
