Biden: 'It's time for Americans to get back to work and fill our great downtowns again' instead of working from home

President Joe Biden briefly addressed working from home in his State of the Union address Tuesday.
Biden urged Americans to get back to the office and "fill our great downtowns again."
Other prominent Democratic politicians have also come out against indefinite remote work.

lockdowns and fake pandemic have destroyed americas's cities.

now its too late, fucktards.

Rightys say the dumbest things and start the worst threads. An administration that talks to the CDC and medical professionals to decide health policy is a smart one. You get a different answer when talking to ownership society. Health safety is terrible, it costs them money.
I disagree with working from home. It should have been done long ago. Providing an office with all the costs that it entails, is wasteful. The office is about control which owners want because they do not trust employees.

When did Biden recognize that, or for that matter anything else?

The pandemic brought about a whole new business model. Bad for commercial landlords but great for certain employers.

I've always known people in certain sectors who are able to work from home at least a few days a week.

In the past, I think there was a question of productivity, and trust that employees won't slack off at home.

If corporations take the savings from lease and utilities and use it for something other than CEO pay/bonuses, this could be a boon for labor.

But they won't. They never do

Cities produce wealth. If you consider that "coercion", what do you consider the forced redistribution of that wealth to the rural populations?

You're a cretin.

cities produce wealth. non cities produce wealth. there's social services in cities and in the country.
