The White House affirmed on Wednesday that it was standing by Gen. Mark Milley, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, who according to a new book may have circumvented the military chain of command by reassuring a Chinese general he would warn Beijing if then-President Donald Trump ordered a nuclear attack on the rival superpower.

"The president has complete confidence in his leadership, his patriotism and his fidelity to our Constitution,” White House press secretary Jen Psaki said during a press briefing.

Yes he did. He did major shit wrong. No general in the US military is allowed to make diplomatic negotiations with a foreign nation or power on his own without specific orders from his superiors. Milley did exactly that in contacting the Chinese. That alone should get him removed and dismissed from service.

Then Milley refused to make the nuclear "football" available to Trump, his commanding officer, on his own volition simply because Milley "felt" Trump couldn't be trusted. That too is not only wrong, it is a violation of the UCMJ, the Constitution, and federal law.

Trump organized an insurrection that trashed the capitol bldg and threatened the lives of congresspeople. Milley was assuring China that we would not attack them so Trump would try and keep the legal protections that he had in office. 140 capitiol cops were injured. Trump has no bottom. Miley was doing what had to be done.
The problem is not what Milley did. It is, that Trump is such a weird person, that he made it necessary. Trump did not act like a normal president. He feels entitled to the presidency. He demands the election to be changed to say he won. he lost. He flat out lost. there is no doubt.
