jan 11 2025 The New York Post revealed that in addition to El Salvador, the Biden regime took action to protect over 700,000 more migrants who could have ended up on President Trump’s deportation list early next year. The other countries included are Sudan, Ukraine, and Venezuela.

All told, 1,900 Sudanese immigrants, 103,700 Ukrainian immigrants, and 600,000 Venezuelans will be able to roam the streets of America freely for at least another 18 months under a process known as Temporary Protected Status (TPS). The TPS status for these migrants had been scheduled to end later this year.

The Post notes that TPS originated from a law signed by President George H.W. Bush in 1990. The program provides work permits for migrants from up to 16 countries who choose to stay in America rather than return to their home countries.
