I believe you're right. People are going to remember what happened on January 6 a LOT longer than this month's headlines. The QOP will try to make a big deal out of the Taliban "killing innocent women and babies," but the fact that closer to home, they don't give a single fuck about the "women and babies" on the border, it's gonna fall flat. They can use one, or they can use the other, but they cannot use both. If I were them, I'd drop the Afghanistan thing quietly and get back to pointing and screaming at the border.

Maybe Biden should have waited until his second term. THIS ... will probably just get worse.
