It's also odd - and frankly, hilarious - that the same dupes who spent seven years trying to terrify us with stories of invading muslim hordes, iranian nuclear weapons, and Al Qaeda terrorists (and that if you criticized the government of George Bush, you were a terrorist-enabler), now "suddenly" have decided that the duly elected american government, and those that voted for them are the "greatest threat".


My position is the same as it's always been. The confluence of corporate power, wall street bankers, and their bought and paid for politicians, are the most prominent threats to a functioning democratic nation. I've never considered a small band of islamic criminal thugs to be the most dire threat to the United States.

I think the electorate has always been stupid, whether it elected good or bad presidents. The elections of Andrew Jackson proved long ago just how stupid and pathetic the American electorate is.

Agree completely. Add a confused populace and economic turmoil and you have the makings of bad times.
