biofuel produces more greenhouse gas than oil

Tell me, dumbass, whenever the plant that's making biofuel is growing, what greenhouse gas does it take out of the air?

And what does it release back into the air, at a net neutral rate, whenever turned into biodeisel and burnt?

That's OK, take your time.

"LOL"

I swear - what a f**cking retard you are.

Sho is bad news, but there are plenty of other options. Stick with fossil fuels & funding the Middle East though, stir - good plan!

Hey waterdork, this site isn't worth the effort.

And I'm laughing at the retards who've been touting biofuels as a way to reduce global warming. Fucking bandwagon douchebagas

As though you're even capable of a decent argument if you deemed it a "worthy site."

You're a real loser, stirfry...

LOL I'm a loser because I don't spend all my time posting to a meaningless message board. Take a look in the mirror lorax

Whatever. I don't rejoice in the potential drawbacks in a fuel source that had shown promise as a cleaner way to get off dependence on foreign oil.

Any tech that reduces our dependence on imported oil is good even if it is a wash on carbon emissions and such.

Any American loving citizen would never want to prevent or badmouth bio-fuel growth in our country. It can only be a huge win for us.

Stops need to war in middle east shithole
Creates a bio-fuel revolution golden age in the Midwest

You appear to be emotionally invested in the topic.

You're article points out that two types of biofuels have a net positibe contribution of greenhouse gasses, but that other types have lower emissions and a net negative greehouse gas contribution.

this is how science and technology works. I'm not sure why this was worth an "LOL"...science, technology and engineering hopefully will weed out which types of biofuels are efficient and relatively non-polluting.
