Lets see, I think Iraq's current production is about 1 million bbls per day, down from 1.9 mil bbl before we invaded.
And how much have we spent on the war, divided by how much oil was produced ? That figures out some darned expensive oil. Humanities aside. At this rate we will bankrupt ourselves in another 5 years.
 
Once they get this dome the only thing the Bush admin needs to do is finidh up those permanent bases they said they werent building and then they can scale back and leave enough Military to Police the pipelines and pumps.

I just love that Americans died so that big oil can get Sweet contracts giving them 75% profit on Iraqi oil.

Western companies will make oil cheaper by getting them online.
I'm for all of it going to Iraq, and let them figure it out.
Back to $3 gallon gas, yeah baby. Let us turbo-libs get what we ask for!!!
 
$3/gal gas is apparently needed to stimulate alternative energy sources.....
If we had only spent 10% of what we have spent on Iraq on developing alternative energy sources.
