Remember when all the Republicans made fun of Biden for calling Abe Shinzo "Prime Minister Abe?" Actually Biden was right. In Japanese culture, the family name is said first. Abe was big on pushing that into English translations. His family name was Abe, so he would be "Prime Minister Abe."
