BREAKING: Donald Trump declares U-TURN on Paris climate change deal

Trump told him: “Would I go back in? Yeah, I'd go back in. I would love to.
“But it's got to be a good deal for the US.”
this has been Trumps position -nothing shocking about it

Wait a day. He'll deny he ever said it, as he watches the coal sludge empty into the rivers he recently earmarked for destruction.

LOL

TEH sky is falling encase Trump wants a better deal for America
He doesn't even know what is in the agreement. All he knows is Obama envy. How the hell do you get 'a better deal' for America?

He never upheld his end of any 'deal' in his life. The world doesn't trust him.

Fucking idiot can't even spell bullshit!!

Yeah, I saw that too, but considering the source, I didn't comment.

That said, we Americans have decreased our energy consumption primarily due to the rising costs of gasoline and heating fuel over the last decade.
Although I do own a gas guzzling big block hot rod, I have traded my full size SUV daily driver in for a smaller 4cyl. all-wheel drive last year.

Not the whole story, much of the reduction has been achieved by the switchover from coal to fracked gas in CCGT power stations.

Yes, but the drilling for NG has been more recent. There is a power plant North of me that is switching from coal to NG, but it's not completed yet. The nuclear plant (TMI) near me is supposedly shutting down. But the decrease began when our fuel prices started shooting up and hit $4 a gallon.
