one of the republicans (not trump) needs to step up now and use this opening to remind the libs of what they have been selling as the benefit of illegals. economic growth + less crime so they should be happy with this.
 
this is one of the greatest things trump has done in a long time. He really is one of the best presidents we have had for quite a while. I can't believe nevertrumpers want to keep being salty on him. What other republican would be so adapt at exposing liberal hypocrisy? Trump is just threatening to give sanctuary cities what they're asking for. Be careful what you ask for.

That has been the most puzzling thing to me over the past two plus years of the Trump Presidency. It is the NeverTrumpers. Nothing the left does surprises me. They are doing what leftists do. But, like you said from a policy perspective I can't see anything conservatives shouldn't be happy with.

Cut taxes
Decreasing regulation
Conservative Supreme Court Justices
Most Pro Life President ever
Most importantly he is fighting back against leftism

I think that last one is why so many conservatives are willing to overlook so much.

I guess I was expecting too much from the NeverTrumpers in thinking they would admit they were wrong. But, cognitive dissonance is truly a phenomenal psychological condition. NeverTrumpers have convinced themselves that they are standing up for some "conservative principles" but when pressed on policy they always run for the tall grass.

I said over a year ago that President Trump will go down as one of the most consequential Presidents of all time.
