Social Security's full retirement age is increasing in 2025

No, it has not. It increased back in 1983. It was set differently depending on what year you were born in, and has stayed at those points for over 40 years. Forty years ago, I was set for full retirement at age 67, and in 2025 I will still be set for full retirement at 67.

I cannot stress enough the importance on consistency. People plan out their retirement date for decades. Moving it at this late a stage would be disastrous. There are so many moving parts that would go out of wack, it should not be considered under any circumstances short of a complete collapse.

And the market crashes. 1100 point loss on the DOW alone - in one day.
If you cannot survive a 2.5% drop, you have no business being in the market.
