Bush: More troops needed for 'long struggle'

President Bush says he has asked Defense Secretary Robert Gates to formulate a plan for expanding the U.S. military so it can fight terrorism "for a long period of time." However, the president said the call for expanding the military was not necessarily tied to another proposal to increase troop levels in Iraq. </img>
