CA Bans Gay Conversion Theory for Minors

while i agree with the law's intent, isn't this overreaching into how we can raise our children? it is legal to send our kids to reform camps, but not to homosexual reform camps.

Those are to different things Reform camps are a punisment for things done wrong. Being gay is not wrong,but punishing your own child for being born gay is wrong.

I somewhat agree, which is why I abandoned this thread. But the states should have some power to make such laws. While, I guess, gay California parents can send their children to conversion therapy out of state, it still helps to remove a huge market from those who profit off of hate and child abuse.

As to gone's argument. There are slippery slopes on every side of a point. Don't fool yourself into believing you can find some position safely above it all. There is a better future and a worse future. There is no perfect future and there is no going back to some idyllic past. Both of those are mirages that can not exist or never existed.

I don't see how wanting to be part of the debate makes me a prole but I am growing bored with the trolls. They don't offer ANYTHING new.
