The abortion issue exists because women are so stupid and can't manage their lives. There is no excuse for an unwanted pregnancy except in cases of rape or a disabled fetus. If women had brains the demand for abortions would just be a couple thousand a year.

Newsom's abortion funding plan is a reaction to the one-year federal Medicaid defunding of Planned Parenthood by the Trump administration, but it's just the latest in his legislative support for abortion and Planned Parenthood, which recently announced it would be ending many of its primary care services in the southern part of the state. Planned Parenthood of Orange and San Bernardino Counties (PPOSBC) will still be committing abortions after it closes down nine of its Melody Health primary care clinics. But that seems to be okay with Newsom.

"California is a reproductive freedom state," he said. "Trump's efforts to defund Planned Parenthood put all our communities at risk as people seek basic health care from these community providers."

Abortion is not a treatment for any health condition. It is the direct, intentional, and unnecessary killing of a preborn human being. Planned Parenthood claims that the defunding means "cancers go undetected, STIs go untreated, birth control isn't available, and patients must travel farther and wait longer for care."

The financial support is in response to the Congressional defunding of qualifying abortion providers of federal Medicaid dollars for one year.
