Because they don't want people to know how much they are having to pay extra because of trump.
I have no problem with it. It would help me not buy from China. But I do question why Amazon would do this when they didn't post how much inflation under Biden inflated the costs of products.

Do you think Amazon does not track their additional costs each time they buy a product? I suspect Amazon knows to the penny how much products are costing them.
I dont know how much of what is sold on Amazon is imported by Amazon thus they know how much the tariff tax is...I suspect on most products someone else imports, thus any claims on Amazon would come from someone else....Amazon is taking their word for it.....thus my skepticism that we would get honest numbers.

I'm with @FastLane . I'd like to know, I’m dodging China’s garbage like it’s a plague. Their products are flimsy junk, and I’m all in for tanking their economy ASAP, enemy status confirmed. Global domination’s their not-so-secret wet dream, and I’m not here for it.
If Amazon had a shred of red-white-and-blue gratitude, they’d slap a neon “NOT FROM CHINA” label on every alternative product. Time to derail the China junk express, quit relying on them for so much as a toothpick. I'd like to see us slash trade 95%, watch their little dictator’s regime crumble when the cash dries up.

I think Amazon should do what they believe is best for them, without pressure from The President.

Because inflation is not a fee or flat amount on a product, and various things influence inflation and inflation for two identical products be different companies could be different, in addition to the fact that some companies will refrain from passing that on, etc.. Not so with tariffs which are a predetermined amount placed on them and charged by the government.I have no problem with it. It would help me not buy from China. You really do not see the difference? That is amazing. Biden did not cause inflation, but he fought it and brought it down. Trump's plan is tariffs and higher costs.
