Can you delete discussions that got started by mistake?

My poll I tried to get going got posted several times, and I'm not sure why. Is there a way to delete them?

we do delete usually by request, as long as its within reason. If someone where to ask me to go delete 20-30 threads I wouldn't bother unless there was personal info or something serious

but if people randomly want a thread deleted from time to time people can ask. I do it semi-routinely.
