Jeff Flake is the worst excuse for a Republican since McShamnesty

So now his game is holding up judicial nominations unless he gets a vote on “protecting Mueller”

It is beyond stupid

The bill will never become law. It has no chance. Even if it were to clear the Senate it won’t pass the House and Trump would never sign it.

It is a separation of powers issue as well.

Additionally all he is doing is making McConnell wait until next session where he has a bigger majority and can marginalize Murkowski, Collins and Romney

Flake must be making the bet that his political career is over and he is merely auditioning for MSNBC or CNN

I would never vote for him for anything. Ever

There's no doubt in the least that Flake is acting the way he is now because he has nothing at stake on being reelected. What a shame the system is designed in such a way to cause retiring politicians to only honestly air their true feeling when there is nothing at stake.

It's ancient history in America to show that politicians of both sides do the same when tehy get the opportunity retirement offers them.
