Why prosecute the Catholic Church? They still covering up for him? When they were covering up for their perverts … that’s when they needed to be prosecuted. I’m not convinced they fit the “corrupt” part of RICO anymore. Anyway, this sounds like a case of a rogue “priest” abusing his office and power.

I taught public school for years and never took the “punish the whole class for one or two offenders” type of approach. I brought the offender(s) to the front of the room, administered the required number of swats, returned them to their seats and resumed teaching. No muss, no fuss. Of course I’m old and don’t take that approach anymore. While I’m still a stickler for classroom discipline, with the hoops I now have to jump through to maintain it I get less taught during the same amount of time AND have a lot more repeat offenders.

Castrate…then prison and make sure everyone out there knows about it … and don’t punish the whole group for the crimes of one.
