CBS says starting today they will be reporting the news more from the average American perspective rather than solely the opinions of liberal elites

It's the smart move. After the exposure that Nick Shirley gave them, the dinosaur media is reeling. CBS is the first to decide to start reporting the facts. It's the ONLY way the old media can keep from sliding into irrelevance.

CBS had an excellent investigative reporter Katherine Herridge . She has degrees from Harvard and Columbia but she is surprisingly even-handed. Her middle of the line approach pissed off a lot of her coworkers and they laid her off and confiscated her confidential files. Which they were later forced to return. So I have a problem believing CBS will change their ways.

CBS is finish as a creditable news agency, their brand has been severely damage after the merger last year. In short get ready
for news and programming that is favorable to the Trump administration?!!

The Federal Communications Commission’s approval of CBS owner Paramount’s $8 billion merger with Skydance came with a condition to install an ombudsman, which FCC Chairman Brendan Carr has described as a “bias monitor.” It appears that the bias monitor will make sure the news company’s reporting meets standards demanded by President Donald Trump.:whoa:

CBS isn't going to change much; they are simply sucking up to people too stupid to know any different. They are trying to appease people with minimal effort. You'll hear a lot of butt smooching because, in the end, flattering them is all you have to do with Trump and his MAGA moobs. If you're hoping for Fox 2.0. You'll be disappointed.

Real news should just state the facts. Facts have no political affiliations. Facts are just facts.
Real news should stat ALL the facts and report stories even if they make one side uncomfortable. MSM has been busy ignoring obvious stories when they go against the bias. Joe Biden's cognitive decline and Hunter's laptop are a couple examples of them ignore huge stories.

You are absolutely wrong about that. The news from MSM were saturated with both subjects.

Maybe their nickname of See B.S. Nooz will become something different... but somehow I don't think they'll be able to stop themselves from a habit that has lasted longer than my lifetime.
Now that they are now under control of a Trump oligarch, I'm guessing they'll start looking more like Fox Nooz. :)

The issue is you choose which facts to produce...

Dan Rather just "reported the facts" that were literally made up, falsified, and directly showed that See B.S. Nooz was willing to sell their soul to hurt political "opponents"... News agencies shouldn't have "opponents" but they do. Pretending that news isn't deliberately leading people down a path towards approved opinions is just absolutely absurdly naive.

Your post changes nothing about what I stated, both Biden’s health and Hunter Biden were frequently covered in the news, making Fast Lane’s statement incorrect.
