For 6% of the deaths, COVID-19 was the only cause mentioned. For deaths with conditions or causes in addition to COVID-19, on average, there were 2.6 additional conditions or causes per death.

I am all for ridiculing these dick weeds about this BS but I think it's important to as clear as we can about the numbers. People who only have covid and die is different than someone who has a comorbid condition and gets covid. If they wouldn't have died of the comorbid condtion but did die because they contracted covid with the condition then thats significant.

It equals over 200,000 more deaths than would have likely happened without Covid.
Since you want to argue that the Chinese virus didn't cause those 200,000 excess deaths, I guess that means it must be the Trump virus.

This is THE stupidest tripe I've seen yet. Yes, certain conditions make someone more likely to die from COVID. Those conditions by themselves are NOT fatal. So unless you want to argue that tens of thousands of people would have died from asthma, or diabetes and the virus had nothing to do with it, then this thread is an utter waste of space.
