Chicago, IL – A crowd of students swarmed a south side strip mall during Wednesday’s National Walkout Day demonstration, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake.

A good demonstration of why the teachers need to be armed (and everyone else around these animals).

I hope the store owners remember who sanctioned the kids to be out on the streets instead of remaining in their classrooms.

Start with the schools, file a suit to demand they make compensation for acting in a reckless manner.

I see two pictures.

One of a crowd of kids and another of a store that has had some sort of disturbance, posted side by side as if that proves they did it.

NO PROOF that the kids ever entered the store.

Once again, taxpayers paying public schools for kids to actually GO TO SCHOOL aren't getting for their money these days.....just turn'm all into the streets for "social causes" on the taxpayer's dime.

I'd love to see what would happen if a lot of kids wanted to take time out of their school day to march somewhere to protest abortions and have their teachers encouraging THAT...... Never happen.

The local school district where I live denied any media from the "protests" on Wednesday. The claim, in writing, by the spokesperson for the district indicated that the reason was for safety concerns. The interesting thing is that the morning talk radio host whose station was denied access says the station gets press releases on a regular basis requesting the station come to the schools for whatever the press release involves. The host, who is also the station manager, said he was curious how the district would react if the station stopped honoring those requests.

The statement given by the District spokesperson indicated that the "protests" weren't organized by the schools but by the students and the schools had nothing to do with any of them. They were referred to as "private not public events". Since they took place at a time when the schools have control over what goes on and the schools are public entities, wouldn't that make it a public event since the only way they could take place is with the schools allowing them to occur? Does that mean if a bunch of students, PRIVATELY, organized a 2nd Amendment rally, the schools would have to honor it, too? Wonder how that would go over.
