So I'll use your post if I may to say:
Yurt, you have shown your true colours. I doubt there is anyone else in the entire world who would make such a stupid, ill-judged comment. As a resident of California I hope you wont mind the world ignoring your stupid arse when the big one comes to you.
We have been watching events unfold all day. Our hearts are with the New Zealanders. We feel so helpless so far away with so little we can do to help.

Perhaps because my family and I were quite upset with todays news and scanned every TV shot for friends who live there and close by and then to see this prat with his mistimed flippancy was something of an insult to the people killed and injured today.
Thats why.

I've seen the movie Heavenly Creatures which was set in Christchurch. What a beautiful city. I don't know much else about it but was very impressed by the scenery and the architecture. I pray that your friends survived this disaster and that you'll be getting good news about them very soon. :loveu:
