Christian Coalition and Energy...an area of common ground

OK, I've been hearing this advertisement for the development of greener energy the past couple of weeks on the radio sponsored by the Christian Coalition. It asks for listeners to contact their congressmen and urge them to encourage the creation of "green energy jobs" and to "provide a path to entrepreneurship" so that America will "take the lead" in the development of alternative energy.

This didn't sound like the CC so I had to look it up and guess what? It was them and the plan doesn't sound half bad.

Their energy plan page

Even though I am a "fundamentalist" Christian I don't often agree with the CC or their tactics, but this is an area of common ground for me and them. I would love to see them make some headway in this area.

The Christian right, while being the most radical part of the right in many respects, sometimes manages to blindly stumble upon a decent position.
