Nope. By giving them a break you are supporting them.
Others pay for the cost of the churches share of establishing public services the churches use. ie sewer, fire and police protection, etc. thru taxes and fees, but the churches get a free ride.
This is the govt supporting the religion.

No, IMO they should not. Especially if they only do it for the religions that are "recognized" by the government. It would directly violate the first amendment rights of those who are not "recognized" and therefore do not receive the same benefit. Thus the government is promoting and establishing only "recognized" religions.
 
Not when they are banking money for 20years before ever dishing it out.

Real charities that distribute what they take in each year should be exempt.
