"Citizens United"; Parentage Of The New Racism!

October 11, 2016 - "What many of the post-Trump stories miss is the villain that lurks in the shadows.

Former labor secretary Robert Reich has been one of the few who dare to call it out:

“The real problem isn’t globalization or technological change per se,” Reich wrote in “What Trump Will Do When He Loses,” an opinion piece published in Newsweek in August. “It’s that America’s moneyed interests won’t finance policies necessary to reverse their consequences — such as a first-class education for all the nation’s young, wage subsidies that bring all workers up to a livable income, a massive ‘green’ jobs program and a universal basic income.”

The moneyed interests,” meaning the extremely rich who own the politicians, manipulate Wall Street and exploit cheap labor worldwide at the expense of Americas working class."

Are you completely divorced from reality? Whether you like it or not the U.S. Has never been the least bit hesitant to use socialism for the public interest when the market fails to provide goods and service effectively.

Hell the very medium we're discussing this on is a product of socialism.

Wacko you honestly need to study some history instead of believing everything free market fundamentalists say. I mean I don't see any private companies rushing out and investing the billions of dollars needed to create and maintain our public infrastructure or public education system that we need if the U.S. Is going to remain as the worlds greatest economic super power. The free market alone cannot nor will not do it.

Mott, I am not divorced from reality in the least (ok, on this issue). I know what Robert Reich has called for over the years. If you want the type of country he envisions then Bernie was your man.

The OP is claiming capitalism is racism and I've heard that comment made before. I look around the globe and I don't see any largely socialist countries having higher standards of living than the U.S. so I think it's full of b.s.

And Make A Fortune Making Speeches To The BIG Wall Street Bankers And Keeping Blacks In The Democrat's Public Housing Slave Quarters Bribing Their Votes With Taxpayer's Money, Huh Commie?

spending 1 billion dollars to pump 300 million dollars in to an economy is not a recipe for prosperity
