Actually it is not. Subduction volcanos spread debris and gasses across the globe. Iceland has regular volcano activities and eruptions. It is on a fault line that is spreading between 2 tectonic plates. They do not threaten the globe and the weather. It can threaten the volcano's surroundings with lava and be a threat to planes flying over Iceland at the wrong time.
