Report: In Meeting, ‘Wild-Eyed’ Bush Thumped Chest While Repeating ‘I Am The President!’

Georgie Anne Geyer writes today in the Dallas Morning News about President Bush’s strange behavior during a recent meeting with “[f]riends of his from Texas.”

But by all reports, President Bush is more convinced than ever of his righteousness.

Friends of his from Texas were shocked recently to find him nearly wild-eyed, thumping himself on the chest three times while he repeated “I am the president!” He also made it clear he was setting Iraq up so his successor could not get out of “our country’s destiny.”

This is the second time in recent weeks that accounts have surfaced of Bush lashing out or “ranting” in private meetings when responding to criticism of his Iraq policy. Chris Nelson of the Nelson Report offered a similar account earlier this month:

ome big money players up from Texas recently paid a visit to their friend in the White House. The story goes that they got out exactly one question, and the rest of the meeting consisted of The President in an extended whine, a rant, actually, about no one understands him, the critics are all messed up, if only people would see what he’s doing things would be OK…etc., etc. This is called a “bunker mentality” and it’s not attractive when a friend does it. When the friend is the President of the United States, it can be downright dangerous. Apparently the Texas friends were suitably appalled, hence the story now in circulation.

Like the tearful House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH), Bush needs to channel his bottled up emotions towards a more worthy end — winding down the war in Iraq rather than defending the status quo.

I don't know why you dems can't say anything nice about him and just get behind our president..........

I missed it this morning when the woman bursted into tears over her handsome jeans monkey.

But I usually watch it and get a kick out of it. I called up once actually.

Yes he is acting bizarre, I even read about his wanting to talk about global warming with other nations....

This is a scary story. I hope this isn't true, the guy is scary enough without this.

I forgot to laugh with you about Boehner! I was cracking up.

LOL

Boehner pulled another boner! That was the worst acting I've ever seen. Crocodile tears!

I wonder what this means. Is he saying that he's "setting up Iraq" so that his successor can't end the war? *shudder*

I personally think it means as Putin puts it "Imperialism"....
The USA has a destiny to control middle east oil. Well that is my take on Bush's "destiny" anyway.

I guess you missed where Bush is now eauqating Iraq to Korea. We will have troops there for 50 years or so according to him.

We have a destiny to be midwife to the New world Order, in the minds of various secret societies, government insitutions, private corporations, Rabbinic Jews, Noahide christians and others. This is what he's talking about.
The convergence of their agendas is amazing, a bit TOO amazing.

Umm Mr. wizard I think it has to do with oil...

Yes, but the controllers have purposefully suppressed the development of other energy sources to build the conflict and hysteria over oil which will lead to wwIII.

It's all on schedule.

Oh yes alt energy has been supressed, but it is all about greed and shortness of vision not a master world plan.

I'm new on this board but I am likely the champion Bush-Basher. I detest the man, not the office. and recently there is nothing good that I could say about him. and I am NOT a Democrat

I fully agree, BUT: when a person is born with the proverbial Silver Spoon, and is propt up thruout his life, even to getting to be Governor and President due to his Daddy. I wouldn't be a bit surprising that this would be the next step. He is an arrogant spoiled Brat.

There's a lot of money in war.

If you don't mind killing hundreds of thousands of people and stealing from your own country to do it....
