Trump is a big fan of mob bosses and "plausible deniability" hence his oft stated claim "I take no responsibility". He's sticking with Hegseth for now, but would it really surprise anyone if, when push comes to shove, he shoves Hegseth under a bus?
That said, I think he's letting Miller, and others, be his bullet shield. Trump has always been a micro-manager and he intentionally handpicked sycophants who swore fealty to him above all other oaths. You and I can agree his decisions are flawed and even nutty, but I have no doubt that he is the one giving the nod for everything his people are doing.

The market is plummeting, consumer confidence is way down, the next jobs report is sure to be anemic, the inflation report today wasn't good, people are being detained & deported for exercising free speech, we've already had a bigger scandal than anything under the Biden admin, and his Cabinet are a group of incompetent, inexperienced amateurs.

Based on what i'm expecting to happen in the next few years... I'm very optimistic ...and patient
..about the changes taking place..... I do hope the market turns around Sooner than later.... But I had no plans to touch the funds anytime soon so i'm sure they'll be fine..i'm not really concerned... As
For the other things you mention will just have to agree to disagree... I'm so much happier with the way things are going than the last four years... That was so depressing... We're actually heading in the right direction... And I'm really looking forward to changes that will be happening with the schools...
