Define "our heritage."
Merriam defines it well enough:

: the traditions, achievements, beliefs, etc., that are part of the history of a group or nation

You see, christiecommunistfan, your belief system has no place in a freedom loving community. We're not interested in "change that the democrat party can believe in". Understood?

The idiots that want fences along our border, government agents checking everyone's papers and in every woman's uterus are the one's worshiping the government.
We're not interested in a third world take over, pinko. Dumbing down America is the name of your game, and a great way to facilitate this is opening the floodgates. It's international doormats like you who forced America's hand.

The government's duty is to prevent murder, not facilitate it. but then, stuff like this escapes brain dead perverts like you.

Liberalism is part of the tradition, achievement and belief system of our nation.

Not your take on it. Liberal America wasn't always a burned out drug culture that advocated fetus slaughter and held special reverence for homosexuals and illegal immigrants. I'm inclined to believe that liberals of old very much enjoyed slave ownership, though.

"...From her beacon-hand
Glows world-wide welcome; her mild eyes command
The air-bridged harbor that twin cities frame.
"Keep, ancient lands, your storied pomp!" cries she
With silent lips. Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me,
I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"
~Emma Lazarus

1. What has the country achieved in the last 100 years or so?

2. Can these achievements be categorized as "liberal" or "conservative"?

Most people don't know the difference between "liberal" and "conservative".

They just know that their party says what they are and they repeat it.

Laws against gays isn't Conservative, it's Liberal amounts of law and government.

And Liberal amounts of law against "weed" isn't Conservative either. It' costs a lot.

But this all depends on how you define Conservative. It generally means "No change" but some see it as less spending. I agree with less spending, but recognize change is needed.

There are no laws against gays. There are, however, gays against laws. Get it right, pervert.
