Collusion Thursday

My input would be that the report of the independent counsel is incomplete without his interviewing Donald Trump under oath. If the investigation was into the Boeing Max 8's and the investigators didn't interview the CEO of Boeing, few would have called the investigation complete. That is what we have with the Mueller report.

Lefties, LOL! Don't make me laugh as antigovernment conspiring 45 GOPer cronies and 45's acting anti-American felonious obstruction of justice team with that dragon hide Barr in the lead position of treason are doing all they can to screw society out of a non compromised and un redacted Mueller report. This anticipated atrocity as in a violation of complete unobstructed transparency that the taxpayer paid over $30 million to have the right to know exactly what this hacked in Russian puppet of a so-called president and his fellow demagogues have been up to against democracy, U.S. Constitutional law, the well being of society and the common decency of civilization in its entirety. This includes no lies, blacking out facts and other putrid atrocities that this lawless 45 enemy against humanity racket is no doubt up to.

What lawyer worth their salt would allow their client to set for a perjury trap?

Please quote the law that requires Congress or anybody else to see the Mueller report! The Mueller report is a communication between the Executive department officials and there's no legal requirement for Barr to show it to anybody except the President upon his request or possibly the Congress provided they can show probable cause in a court of law.

You should be thankful that you’re going to get to see what you’re going to get to see. If you have evidence of Russian hacking and collusion with this President, please let us all know what it is. Keeping it to yourself is covering up for Trump and it’s criminal!

Apparently you know squat about the law. It’s illegal to expose to the public Grand Jury testimony and any information concerning ongoing investigations.

Then why didn't Mueller subpoena Trump?

My guess is that Barr gave him a date to end the report and Trump ran out the clock.

Lol, the investigation was ongoing for over 2 years. Barr has just arrived on the scene. Again, why didn't Mueller subpoena Trump? Try again.

Good question. Mueller possibly did subpoena the President and perhaps we just do not know about it. Mueller possibly was expecting to question the President and was told to wrap it up.

Regardless, the absence of the testimony of the key figure in the investigation—under oath with the pains and penalties of perjury—renders this report incomplete.

Trump was asked questions, and submitted answers to the special counsel. So, really all you have is straw grasping, and wild speculation. Do you seriously expect anyone to believe, that Trump was subpoenaed by Mueller, and refused, yet not a single person from the special counsel's office leaked this to the media? Do you also expect us to believe that wouldn't be contained within the Mueller report? Oh, I get it, it's hidden in the redactions. Right? LOL, the straw grasping by the left today is truly astonishing. At what point do you guys simply accept the fact that you have been duped? Are you just going to go down with the ship? Wow.

It's a false premise. Trump's testimony is on the record. Have you looked at the numbers for this case? How many witnesses interviewed, evidence subpoenaed, etc? There was just no there, there. In fact, those are the exact words contained in a text message by FBI lawyer, Lisa Page.

I heard Michael Smerconish read some of the answers. They were not Trump’s words but the words of his legal team. That isn’t testimony….they are answers full of legalese that were scrubbed by the legal team before submission.

I withdraw my previous statement about the subpoena

Mueller screwed up in my opinion. If you’re investigating the local PTA, the first step would be to sit and talk to the head of the PTA. If you’re investigating the Trump campaign, the first stop would be to sit and talk to the head of the Trump campaign.

A witness refusing to answer questions should be treated to a subpoena… The report can’t be complete without the testimony.

Anyway, Mueller didn’t go there so Trump skated.

If that helps you sleep at night.

If that helps you sleep at night.

It has the added benefit of being the truth. But, hey, in this case, Mueller let Trump get away by allowing the legal team to give answers instead of the witness. Can’t begrudge our President for taking advantage of the system; it is sad that Americans have come to expect so little from their elected officials.

The person who is asking a question cannot be wrong, only the person who is answering it can be right or wrong.

Yes, but you said before that the investigation wasn't going to find anything.
Thankfully, you're a mature adult, so I'm sure you're going to admit you were wrong about that, right?
