Since 1942, there has never been a formal declaration of war from Congress. Not for the Korean War under a Democrat President, not for the Vietnam War under a Democrat President, not for the Afghanistan War, the Iraq War or any of the many bombings of Libya and Syria by Obama.
But suddenly, Democrats who were okay with Obama’s bombing in the ME and North Africa claim that Presidents must have a declaration from Congress. That is a dumb lie. It is laughably inane and a direct interference of Executive authority.
