Rep. Mark Foley, a Republican from Florida, resigned Friday from the House, a day after a former congressional page questioned e-mails Foley had sent to him. Foley apparently sent the e-mails in August 2005, when the male page was 16 years old. </img>

I know the left are gonna say this happens all the time, but this is the first time a Republican rep has been accused of paedophilia that I've seen and I want this single one fucker gone. Paedophiles, or even ones who just discuss it like this guy have no room in the GOP.

Foley had a fairly moderate voting ranking, despite the media trying to associate this shit with Conservative Republicans, maybe now that district can get a REAL Conservative Republican and one who will respect the laws against criminals that they help enact:

Let's be clear...He preyed on a 16 year old boy....who else did he prey on the past 12years in office....(In office representing, "we the people", you know....?)

You realize that Rep Foley was the CHAIRMAN of the committee on EXPLOITED CHILDREN.....

and the word is that Hassert has known about this since last November...and he let him CONTINUE AS CHAIR of this committee during some very, very important hearings they had on the hill a few months ago is just unbelievable....

Talk about being inept in leadership, having this guy as the head of exploited children...it is a shame!

How many ADDITIONAL children have been hurt because of it?
