If laws have been in fact broken, and I believe they have, an A-political Justice Department will take care of that by indicting and prosecuting those who violated the Constitution or any Federal law. Congress is a legislative body- it is not their job to go after their political adversaries either. If the Constitution needs to be amended to protect our Democratic processes by creating new laws or amendment, THEY WILL WORK TOWARDS THAT!
However, there is such a way to hold Congressional leaders to accountability with their Ethics Committee and their ethics committee hearings process. Since the Public sees this as a partisan process, The Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE), was established by the U.S. House of Representatives in March 2008, is a nonpartisan, independent entity charged with reviewing allegations of misconduct against members of the House of Representatives and their staff and, when appropriate, referring matters to the United States House Committee on Ethics.
The House will also conduct impeachment hearings but after Justice Department special Council recommendation as in The Richard Nixon and Donald Trump cases.!
If this does not happen, In this case- I WILL BE YOUR BEST ALLY IN AGREEING THERE IS A FAILURE OF DUTY BY THE DEMOCRATS. BUT GIVE THEM THE TIME FOR THE PROCESS TO PLAY ITSELF OUT BEFORE COMING HERE AND CALLING THE DEMOCRATS FRECKLESS, AS THAT CLAIM IS BASELESS AT THIS TIME.

It would be a honor and duty to the U.S. Constitution and Democracy to sanction this tRump republican faction at joining tRump to wage war on America and conspire to destroy Democracy. This in order to aid and comfort foreign enemies as in high treason and heinous sedition. Amendments of the U.S. Constitution were created to be used when necessary, in particular the 14th amendment. Considering tRump and his un American republican faction engaged in a extraordinary and brazen act of waging war on America and U.S. Constitutional law, I am sure the framers of the U.S. Constitution would expect that 14th amendment they created to be used now against un American republicans who live it up on the taxpayer dime, while attempting to destroy the well being of the taxpayer. There is no place in Congress for tyrants who work to wage war on America, Democracy, society and humanity but to be denied entrance. Had it been the other way around, repukes would have invoked the 14th amendment in nanoseconds.

Biden is not the president until January 20th 12pm noon, but you are already criticizing him. Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats have had relief House bills sitting on McConnells desk since last summer, and he has refused to even bring them to the floor. And while the plan the Democrats has for people that would directly benefit people like you are the ones that the Republicans have not moved on. A non-partisan committee was set up and has sent proposals over to the Senate for the last week, and McConnell and majority of Republicans have not budged so far and even moved on them.
So I don't see how the Democrats are at fault for anything at the moment.
