Coulter: Native American

I was watching some of her classic clips last night and several libs she was debating brought up the "fact" that the only American is a native American and the rest of us are immigrants or descendants of immigrants. She had an interesting retort, an "alternative fact" that has merit. She's traced her lineage to "settlers", who came to this continent before it was founded as a nation. One example, from The View:

Ana Navarro: “Let me point out that you’re sitting at this table next to two immigrants ... What is your family’s immigration story? Are you a Native American?”

Coulter: “Yes, I am. I’m a settler. I’m descended from settlers. Not from immigrants ... I’m not living in the Cherokee Nation. I’m living in America, which was created by settlers, not immigrants.”

An immigrant is somebody who moves from their native born country to another country and lives there. 'We are a nation of immigrants" is a bullshit politically correct line that tries to justify illegal immigrants who are actually illegal aliens.

My ancestors started arriving in north america from Ireland in the late seventeenth century and I am no immigrant, I am a natural born american.

I'm a native American since the definition of native is "a person born in a specified place or associated with a place by birth".
