While we've been busy winning gold medals and being #1 in the world in athleticism, 'Merica has spent 2.5 billion dollars to once again go to mars and do lots of science-y shit.

We've engineered a bunch of cool robots and propulsion systems and lots of cool manly space flying majigs.

There's been a lot of hype about this landing. We are trying to get into a very specific area, so the way we are landing this rover is unlike anything we've done before.

What else is new for the best nation in the world at flying through space?

Like SPACE ROCKS? Like ROBOTS? Like LANDING ON PLANETS? Like punching the FACE OF GOD?

Like measurements of THINGS? Like some motherfucking DATA?

How do you equate this to "punching the FACE OF GOD"??
 
Wow! That was great...I watched the whole thing and it was totally awesome! Curiosity is on the ground and sending images and information!! Woot! Congratulations to all the people who worked so hard to make this happen!
